The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) will be participating in various exhibitions, trade shows and National Pavilions to promote locally manufactured products in international markets. The department invites manufacturers and registered exporters to participate in the international trade shows listed in the links below. If your company is competitive in the South African market, has been in business for at least two years and is export ready, it stands to benefit from the dtic's Export Marketing and Investment Assistance scheme.
Applications are open for companies in the agro-processing sector to participate in the South African Pavilion at Gulfood - the largest food and beverage trade exhibition in the Middle East. Gulfood 2026 will showcase food and beverage products from around the world. South Africa will participate in the Fine Food Pavilion, which showcases agro-processing products and services, excluding beverages and meat. The deadline for submissions is 26 August 2025.
The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) invites interested companies to participate in an Outward Selling Mission (OSM) to Accra, (Ghana), and Lagos, (Nigeria), from 22 to 29 October 2025. The objective of the OSM is to facilitate market access for South African value-added goods and services in Ghana and Nigeria. Planned activities during the OSM include a Business Seminar, Business-to-Business meetings and site visits. The closing date for applications is Wednesday, 09 July 2025.
